The only way to get to Skopelos is by ferry but there are plenty of connections, including from the other Sporades (Alonissos, Skiathos, Peristera and Skyros) as well as Volos and Thessaloniki.

Skopelos, Glossa or Agnontas ?

All three of them! Actually Loutraki is the port of Glossa and where your ferry will arrive but don’t expect to find Loutraki on the ticket. On line booking sites and for the ferry operators, the port is called Glossa , just like the village above. Glossa is located on the northwestern side of the island.

Agnontas is a tiny beach village that has a port and receives ferry traffic from the nearby islands.

Skopelos is the capital and main port on the island of Skopelos. It is located on the southern side of the island.

How long does it take to get from Alonissos to Skopelos?

The journey between Alonissos and Skopelos takes between 15 and 25 minutes. . The journey to Glossa takes about 1h 15 min.. While the journey to Agnontas takes 35 minutes.
