The Port of Piraeus (Pireas*) is the main gateway to the Greek Islands. Depending on your plans and when the ferries depart, you might need to stay for a night or two in one of the budget hotels near the port.

Piraeus City Hotel

Address: 78-80 Notara Str. , Piraeus, 18535, Greece
This 3-star hotel is located in the center of Piraeus, right by the port and next to the railway station. All rooms are equipped with AC and TV. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but there’s American buffet breakfast served daily in the breakfast room. Laptop rental is available for a fee.

The hotel offers doubles, twins, family rooms and triples. The prices range between €49 and €55 in low season for a double or twin and between €68 and €76 for a family, per night. While in the high season you can get a double room for tow between € 86 and € 131 per night, depending on the period and availability while the family room goes up to €182 per night.

Ideal Hotel Piraeus

Address: 142, Notara Street, Piraeus

The 2-star hotel is located in the center of Piraeus, just 100 m from the port and 15 min from Athens’ city center. Breakfast is included in the room price. All rooms have AC and there’s web access from the rooms as well.

The hotel offers singles, doubles, twins and triples. The prices, during the 2024 high season, range between €49 per night for a single room , €59 per night in a double economy room (deal) and between €49 and €87 per night for a triple room. Just remember that during the high season the rooms book up really fast.

During the low season you can get a double room as low as €51 and a triple for as low as €61. The lowest price for a single room in the low season is around €38.

Lilia Hotel

Address: 131 Zeas Str., Piraeus, 185 34, Greece

The hotel is located at just 5 min from the Port of Piraeus, with direct access to the public transportation. Free transfer to the port is available each morning. It’s a non-smoking hotel. The breakfast is included in the room price.

The guests can choose between single, double, and triple room. The prices, during the 2024 high season, range between €46 and €51 per night in a single room and €82 per night in a double room. During the low season you can get a single room between €42 and €78 for a double and between €38 and €42 for a single.

Triton Hotel

The 3-star hotel is located close to the Port and a short distance from the train station. It offers single, double or twin with balcony or without, executive double or twin, double with extra bed and family rooms. all with AC, TV free wifi, laptop on request and private bathrooms. Breakfast is not included in the room price but can be opted for, and costs €11.

During the low season a single room will cost from €51, a double economy without balcony €54, a twin or double €61, while a double with extra bed will cost between €69 and €78. A family room can go as high as €120.

This budget hotel is located right in the center of Piraeus, close to the port, and at only 20 min from Athens’ city center. The rooms are equipped with AC, private bathroom and TV, free wifi access in public areas and room service.

Breakfast is not included but you can choose it for an extra €8 (per day).

The hotel offers superior double, deluxe double, deluxe triple, family two-bedroom suites and single rooms.
