When it comes to choosing one of the hotels in Thessaloniki, it is all about location and budget. With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of the best hotels in Thessaloniki for under €100 per night …and also an exception to the rule.

Hotel Orestias Kastorias

This small 2-star family run hotel is located close to all the important sites in Thessaloniki. There are 37 rooms available, all offering incredible views. All rooms have AC, TV, phone, private shower and bath. There’s internet available on request.

All rooms have free WiFi, AC and TV.

During the 2023 high season (July), the prices range from €60 per night for a double room and €73 per night for a triple room, while the single room starts at €54 per night. During the 2023 low season (starting in November, excluding Christmas), the are no available prices yet.

Nea Metropolis

The beautiful hotel offers only 35 rooms. There’s central heating, phone, TV and private bath in each room. There’s a restaurant-bar on site and guests can eat the continental breakfast each morning. Internet services are available on request.

The 2023 high season rates start at €50 per night for a single room, €60 per night for a double room, and €70 per night for a triple room. Off-season rates start slightly lower, with prices starting at €45 per night for a single room, €50 per night for a double room, and €60 per night for a triple room.

Rotonda Hotel

The 3-star hotel is located right in the city center, close to the Central Railway Station. There are 80 rooms available, all with AC, TV, phone, fridge and balcony. The buffet breakfast is included in the room price.

During the 2023 high season, the prices range between €67 per night for a single room , €77 per night for a double room (deal), €89 per night for a triple room, and €152 per night for a family room (sleeps 4).

During the 2023 low season, the prices are higher, starting at €77 per night for a single room , €87 per night for a double room (deal), €99 per night for a triple room, and €152 per night for a family room (sleeps 4), although this might change as more availability is added by the hotels.

Hotel Astoria

Astoria is quite expensive but we couldn’t resist listing it here. The 3-star hotel is located right in the center of the city and is ideal for the business traveler. Credit cards are accepted, which is a nice facility since the majority of budget hotels do not allow the use of credit cards. The rooms have private bath, hairdryer, AC, mini bar, TV, balcony and safe. The hotel offers conference rooms, restaurant and bar.

During the 2023 high season the prices range between €87 per night for a budget single room, €92 per night for a single room, €101 per night for a budget double room, and €110 per night for a double room (city view and balcony).

During the 2023 low season the prices are not yet available.
